Hi, I’m Little Susie Homemaker. No, really, I’m Susan. (Unless you knew me before 2000 in which case, you know me as Susie).
The idea for this blog started well over a decade before I actually started it. No matter where I have lived, I always made my home comfortable and cozy and it has always been my personal sanctuary. It is where I go to relax, rest, recoup from the stresses of the day.
It is HOME, not just a house.
I’m now married, retired from corporate work and enjoying getting to live my homemaker dream. I get to create in the kitchen, garden in the yard, sew to mend but also to craft and take care of my husband and our home (which right now includes 2 geriatric dogs, Theodore, 15.5 yrs old, and Jake, 16.5 yrs old)
Along with getting to be a full-time homemaker, my hubby & I love to vacation, hike and backpack. (We met in a FB Single Hikers group and got married on a mountain pass) From time to time, I will write posts about where we’ve gone and what I learned along the way.
I also love all things personal finance too. Frugal living, making or saving money, making due, using up….all of that that goes along with homemaking!
